About Hannah

I am an experienced heritage project consultant, specialising in obtaining funding for churches, charities, and community organisations. With over 15 years’ experience, I have raised over £2.5 million for projects which repair, celebrate and sustain historic buildings and enhance their role within local communities.

My expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and consultation to securing grants, project management, and evaluating impact. I have secured numerous grants from the wonderful National Lottery Heritage Fund, where I was lucky enough to work as a Grants Officer early in my heritage career, and latterly as a freelance assessment consultant.

My career has also involved roles at the Churches Conservation Trust and the National Trust, and several years working in education.  I read Architectural History at Manchester University and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specialising in history.

I live in Herefordshire, where I enjoy hiking in the beautiful border countryside with friends, dogs and my partner Jon, who helpfully enjoys taking photos of churches! I am a passionate advocate for rural churches, for their architectural significance, their contribution to a village’s historic sense of place, and the valuable role they can play in community life.

I hope you enjoy my website; please feel free to get in touch via the contacts page.
