Client: PCC of St Michael and All Angels, Kingsland, Herefordshire

Living in Kingsland at the time, I was asked to help the PCC raise funds for major restoration work at Kingsland Church, a Grade I listed building dating from 1320.  A successful application to the National Lottery Community Fund enabled the early development of project, followed by development funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF). I coordinated the development phase, also undertaking activity planning, interpretation design, partnership fundraising and the writing of the NLHF delivery phase bid. This was successful, and a further grant was awarded in late 2020. I continued to coordinate the project’s delivery phrase, working alongside a small but mighty team of dedicated volunteers and professional consultants until the successful completion of the project in 2024.
