I have undertaken grant fundraising for several projects at St Mary’s, a thriving Grade I listed church which overlooks the timeless market town of Kington. A combination of community and grant fundraising efforts have resulted in the completion restoration of the church’s 1883 Walker organ; repairs to the church’s medieval roof and stonework; the creation of a flexible space for community activity within the nave; and the installation of a new heating system, which should help the church with its mission to achieve Carbon Zero by 2030.
